This project consisted in experimenting with  denim fabric, donated by Tavex, a textile Factory in Mexico, for the realization of a garment. My inspiration was the Antelope Canyon where the stones have a texture that generates rhythm and continuity.
From several textile experimentations based on this, I designed a fabric to represent the change of direction of the stones. I executed this through an interlining that joins the threads fusing them through heat.
On the other hand, the upper canvas fabric are made of the characteristic colors in denim, in order to represent the variation in color that is created naturally in the Canyon.
The dress was modeled on a mannequin to ensure that the seams on the sides did not interfere with the continuity of the threads. This further ensured the dress could represent the infinite appearance of the stones on the human body.
